We are starting our second project with JCON Commercial, the construction of our new pub in Orlando near the UCF campus. We decided to go with JCON again because our first experience was first rate. Our company specialists in acquiring underperforming, unanchored shopping centers and adding value through improving the tenants, improving the real property, or a combination of both. Recently, during a construction project in Tampa, we ran into unforeseen issues with water supply, meter changes, and ERC impact fees with the City of Tampa. The General Contractor who was managing the project did not address the issues initially and correctly, potentially setting back the delivery to the tenant weeks.

I was introduced to Jess Wirts and JCON Commercial as a tenant build-out specialist. After sharing my situation and concern with Mr. Wirts, we engaged him to provide an estimate for the unforeseen scope of work. The estimate arrived within a day of the telephone call and covered the entire scope of work as outlined in our discussion. While this is what you would expect from a General Contractor, typically this is not the type of service received. Mr. Wirts listened to our concerns and was responsive to our needs, making our project a priority because of the time constraints.

Mr. Wirts did an outstanding job of managing the project and ensuring that things were completed as promised, another quality that is difficult to find. As a result, our company was able to deliver the space to the tenant only 1 week behind schedule. This saved our company an estimated $4,000 in missed rent and billable Common Area charges which would have been lost had the initial General Contractor completed the work.

In the future, we will be sure to contact JCON for our construction needs. I am the acting property manager for our sites and understand the challenges in managing people and processes. Having someone who is truly working for you and your company is a huge asset. I have been extremely pleased with JCON to date and look forward to working with their company on many projects in the future.

I am the owner of Shades, Inc. We are a sunglass retailer with stores along the East Coast from Virginia to Florida. We recently opened a new store in Wesley Chapel, FL and worked with JCON Commercial who completed our build-out.

JCON Commercial kept us informed and updated weekly on the progress. We had a grand opening a deadline that had to be met. JCON Commercial finished the job 2 weeks ahead of schedule allowing us to train our staff and open for business.

When our landlord referred us to JCON Commercial, we had a rush job to convert prime retail space that had been a video store into our bookstore format. The rush -- we had about three weeks -- was because we had a short 'window of opportunity' for our customers to order their books before school let out. JCON definitely went above and beyond in meeting our deadline without sacrificing quality or service. What impressed me most is that unlike most contractors, even with our time pressure, JCON found the time to really get to know what we're all about. The free-standing building that we purchased required a complete renovation, top to bottom, to become the home of our newest medical office. We wanted a first-class facility that reflected our professionalism and our devotion to the care of our patients, but we had a lot of questions about how to achieve that most efficiently within our budget.

JCON Commercial proved to be the ideal professional for us to turn to for this project. The JCON team was incredibly thorough in explaining the entire process to us, and keeping us informed all along the way. They would even alert us ahead of time to the major milestones in the renovation process, so that we could be on hand to watch the work in progress. When we wanted to make changes, JCON was extremely flexible and accomodating, and would often take the time to suggest alternatives to what we thought we wanted that ended up being a better solution.

My staff, my patients and I are totally pleased with our new offices. JCON definitely exceeded our expectations in the quality of workmanship and level of customer service. Their attention to detail, their responsiveness and their timely communication made us confident that we'd be pleased with the end result and made the entire process not only painless but interesting and enjoyable.
